What kind of career background did you have before joining Zippy Shell?
Before joining Zippy Shell, I was the vice president of sales and marketing at procurement and consulting company.
Why did you want to become a Zippy Shell franchisee?
It was important to me to be close to family – now, I’m working directly with my son, Bobby. Zippy Shell is a great model for building a legacy business for the family
How does your background play a role in your Zippy Shell business?
There are many overlaps – I was working closely with logistics, distribution, and purchasing, which are directly correlated to what we do at Zippy Shell. Plus, as a sales and marketing executive, I had the experience to properly get the word out about Zippy Shell and build relationships to get business.
How has your community reacted to Zippy Shell’s services and availability?
The reception has been outstanding – in fact, we have ALL five-star reviews on Yelp! We’re in the top ten moving companies in Jacksonville and there are dozens.
