Due North Holdings Acquires Zippy Shell of Denver
Washington, D.C., March 20, 2017 - Zippy Shell Incorporated today announced the sale of the Greater Denver market to Due North Holdings, LLC. Due North currently owns the rights to Zippy Shell for the State of Arizona as well as the Greater Seattle market.
The Denver Metro area is one of the fastest growing markets in the United States and is one of the busiest markets for moving and storage as well. Denver is the 18th largest metro economy in the United States. Its economy is based partially on its geographic position and its connection to some of the country's major transportation systems. Since Denver is the largest city within 500 miles, it has become a hub for storage and distribution of goods and services to the Mountain States, Southwest States, and all the Western States.
"We are really excited to be able to enter the Denver market," said Berekk Blackwell, owner of Zippy Shell of Greater Denver. "We are thrilled and ready to hit the ground running. We are looking forward to this new venture with Zippy Shell and are glad to be expanding our reach as franchise owners. Zippy Shell is a growing and thriving brand and we are excited to be a part of the system."
"In a short period the Blackwell's have solidified their position as one of the top ownership groups within our brand," said Rick Del Sontro, President of Zippy Shell Franchise Operations. To now have them anchoring Arizona, Seattle and Denver gives us great comfort that we have solidified these important markets for our brand."
Blackwell continued, "When we first looked at the type of services we would be able to provide consumers to meet their storage and moving needs, we were convinced that we needed to be a big part of the Zippy Shell brand. We know that in the future we will expand into even more markets."
